TRAINING

At Hillbrook, we are committed to being your quilting partner as you advance your knowledge in the years to come. Having the proper basic training is so very important to your success. This is why we are very proud to say that the Virginia Longarm Network provides you with the most comprehensive introductory training in the industry.

With the purchase of a quilting system, you will receive FOUR TRAINING SESSIONS that are designed to give you a solid foundation to start quilting.

These classes are provided to you at our headquarters in Maidens, VA. at Virginia Longarm. Training at our regional sales facilities is available at an additional cost.

SESSION 1 & 2

A two-day class that will cover basic operations, maintenance, and a skill-building.

SESSION 3

On the day of delivery we will review items you learned in session 1 & 2.

SESSION 4

We will provide you with an additional follow-up class after you have had an opportunity to use your machine awhile. This class is typically conducted in a question-and-answer format.

ONGOING EDUCATION

The Virginia Longarm Netwok teaches many different classes at quilt shows all over the Mid-Atlantic region. Also, teaches many private classes to assist quilters in perfecting their craft. In addition, throughout the year we bring in guest teachers for our customers to learn advanced quilting techniques.

PRE-OWNERSHIP COURSE

This course has been designed for those customers contemplating the purchase of a Gammill Quilting System. This is a day of demonstrations, hands-on training and a question-and-answer session. Customers who take this course say they have the knowledge and confidence they need to make a decision on a Gammill Quilting System. lunch will be provided.
